Are you over 50? We encourage those over 50 years of age to volunteer because El Nido believes that elders and youth each benefit when working together. Our goal is to make an impact on providing meaningful inter-generational services to strengthen these bonds in our community.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Teach a Virtual Cooking Class & Share Your Favorite Vegetarian Recipe!

We’re looking for individuals to teach a virtual cooking class showcasing vegetarian recipes using fresh produce from our farmers market!

Virtual Tutoring for Middle or High School Math or English Students

We are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to tutor students in grades 3-12.

Calling All Green Thumbs!

We invite you to help facilitate our Children's Gardening Class at the El Nido Pacoima Farmers Market every Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Organize a Collection Drive

Help our families with food, clothing, school supplies and other essentials. Organize a collection drive with friends, family or colleagues.

Food insecurity has become a major challenge for our families FamilySource Centers in Pacoima and South LA launched a Food Pantry program.
