In El Nido’s local implementation of this national model, a team of child development and health specialists works with economically disadvantaged parents of children aged 3 and under. Home-based services engage parents and babies in activities that promote motor, language, conceptual, and cognitive skills while empowering parents as their children’s first teachers to prepare them for school success.
