Volunteer Opportunities
Tutoring: We need tutors to assist student with their school studies and homework.
Expectations/ Responsibilities:
* Provide individual or small group tutoring for students in elementary or high school.
* Additional assistance; review homework material, discuss text, help develop study and test
skills, topic formulation for writing assignments.
Qualifications:
* Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Locations & Times:
* Pacoima Office during the hours of 8AM to 8PM.
* Compton Office during the hours of 3PM to 7PM.

Internship Opportunities
Master Level:
El Nido offers graduate internships for social work, counseling and MFT. Internships are offered out of the Mission Hills and Compton offices.
* Spanish speakers are strongly preferred.
* We ask for a minimim committment of 16 hours a week for 6 months.

Donations
With your financial support, El Nido is able to fulfill its mission to empower more low-income children, youth and families to live healthy and productive lives.
Host a fund drive at work or in your community:
* Collect donations of diapers and formula for impoverished young mothers and their babies.
* Promote education by donating much-needed backpacks and school supplies for elementary and high school students.
* Fight hunger by donating grocery gifts cards for parents who are struggling to feed their families.
