Position: Accounting/Billing Assistant (part-time, 22.5 hours per week)
Location: Mission Hills
Monthly Salary: $1600.00 - $1750.00
Major Responsibilities: Assists with the preparation of invoices in compliance with all contract and budget terms; communicates directly with funding source(s) to answer questions and resolve issues related to billing.
Position Requirements: Minimum of three years routine accounting experience including billing/invoicing and assisting with budgets; proficient in accounting and spreadsheet software; accurate math skills; effective communication skills; and ability to perform a wide variety of detailed duties with deadlines.

Position: Program Director
Program: Early Head Start
Location: Manchester Office
Annual Salary: $70,000 - $72,000
Major Responsibilities: Oversees the Early Head Start Program by providing vision and strong leadership to staff; ensures contract compliance, program goals and objectives are met; responsible for overall program planning, and assessment of staff and program operations; oversees staff training and development; maintains relationships with other community agencies; and prepares program applications for funding and acts as liaison to Federal Early Head Start monitors.
Position Requirements: Masters Degree in child development, education, social work, psychology or other related field with a minimum of 5 years experience working with infants, toddlers, and parents in a child development program; minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required; experience providing direct services to low-income minority community preferred; demonstrated managerial and leadership skills; excellent communication, organization and written skills; ability to team build and motivate staff; bi-lingual Spanish and Head Start program experience preferred.

Position: Home Based Supervisor
Location: Manchester Office
Program: Early Head Start
Annual Salary: $50,000 - $53,000
Major Responsibilities: Provides assistance with planning and implementation of comprehensive child development program that meets the Head Start definition of curriculum in the home-based program; oversees the work of a team of home visitors in providing supervision, observations of home visits, parent activities, group socializations for parents and children and reviews records and enrollment levels; monitors staff activities for compliance with contract goals; provides program orientation and training fro new staff; assists in identifying ongoing training needs of program staff and plans the development and training to meet those needs; and provides other management duties including hiring, performance evaluations, and implementing professional development plans of staff.
Position Requirements: Masters Degree in Social Work, Child Development or other related field; 2 – 3 years management experience in supervising a team of employees; knowledgeable in adult learning concepts and of target population and community, including community resources; ability to train and supervise diverse staff; effective oral and written communication skills; previous experience providing direct services to low income families and in working with persons of varied experience and ethnic backgrounds; Bilingual/Spanish and previous Early Head Start experience strongly preferred.

Position: Substitute Bus Driver
Program: Early Head Start
Location: Manchester Office
Hourly Rate: $12.00 - $13.00
Major Responsibilities: Provides on-call transportation of Early Head Start clients to program activities; inspects bus and/or van to ensure it is in good working condition (maintenance, gas, cleanliness, etc.); maintains bus/van records as required. May also provide assistance with group activities and miscellaneous tasks in office as needed.
Position Requirements: Qualified candidates must posses a valid California Driver’s License with Class B and Passenger Vehicle Endorsement; certificate for school bus/ youth bus weighing less than 26,001 pounds strongly preferred. Must have minimum of 3 years driving experience; familiar with South Los Angeles area and bilingual/Spanish preferred.
